Commercial Hydro-Jetting for Restaurants, Industrial Facilities, and Commercial Properties. High-Pressure. In-House Equipment. Fully Documented.

A drain snake moves a clog. Hydro-jetting removes what caused it. California Coast Plumbers runs commercial hydro-jetting programs across Southern California — clearing grease accumulation, scale buildup, and heavy debris from restaurant grease lines, industrial drains, and large-diameter commercial mainlines using in-house high-pressure equipment. Scheduled programs prevent the backup. Emergency response handles it when it happens anyway.

In-house equipment. Documented service every visit. No subcontracting.

Heavy grease and calcite buildup inside commercial drain pipe before hydro-jetting

A Snake Gets the Drain Moving. Hydro-Jetting Clears the Line.

Mechanical snaking punches a hole through a blockage. It gets the drain flowing again, but the grease, scale, or debris that caused the problem is still on the walls of the line — narrowing the pipe, slowing flow, and setting up the next backup. In a commercial kitchen or industrial facility running high-volume daily, that next backup is rarely far off.

High-pressure hydro-jetting uses 3,000–4,000 PSI water pressure to scour the interior of drain and sewer lines — removing grease accumulation from the pipe walls, flushing scale and mineral deposits, and clearing debris from large-diameter industrial mainlines in a way that restores full pipe capacity. A properly scheduled hydro-jetting program turns a recurring emergency into a controlled maintenance interval.

California Coast Plumbers runs commercial hydro-jetting with in-house equipment maintained for commercial-scale work — not rented for the job, not subcontracted out. Every service is documented: line condition before clearing, findings during, and status after. You get a report, not just a bill.

Schedule Service

29 Years. In-House Equipment. Every Line Documented.

Commercial hydro-jetting isn't a specialty service we added to expand our menu. Drain and sewer line clearing has been the core of our commercial work since 1997. Restaurants, industrial facilities, institutional kitchens, and large-format retail — the full range of Southern California's commercial property types.

Where the job warrants it, we run a camera inspection before jetting — so we know what's in the line, where it starts, and what condition the pipe is in before high-pressure water goes in. What we find, we document.

Our equipment is maintained for commercial mainlines — not sized for residential work pressed into commercial service. We carry the capacity for 4-inch through 12-inch-plus lines without sourcing additional equipment for the job.

Every service generates a written report: line condition at start, blockage type and location, jetting outcome, and any issues requiring follow-up. When your property manager or ownership group asks for documentation, we have it.

Every Commercial Property Type with High-Volume Drain Infrastructure.

Hydro-jetting is most effective where grease accumulation, scale buildup, or high debris volume makes mechanical clearing insufficient. That covers a wide range of commercial operations — and the appropriate frequency varies significantly by property type and usage volume.

Restaurants & Commercial Kitchens

Grease line accumulation is the primary cause of backup in food service operations. A recurring hydro-jetting program — quarterly, biannual, or custom-scheduled based on volume — keeps grease lines clear before they restrict flow and before a backup forces a closure. We coordinate around service hours and build the schedule around your kitchen's output, not a generic interval.

Grease Line Programs FOG Compliance Support After-Hours Scheduling

Hotels & Banquet Facilities

Hotel kitchens and banquet operations often run multiple kitchen zones with separate drain systems and variable load by season and event calendar. We map the infrastructure, schedule service independently by zone, and coordinate work windows around occupancy and event schedules — including early-morning and overnight access when required.

Multi-Zone Programs Seasonal Scheduling After-Hours Access

Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities

Industrial floor drains, process drains, and sanitary lines in manufacturing environments accumulate sediment, scale, and process residue that snaking can't fully address. We run industrial hydro-jetting programs around production schedules — not contractor availability — and document findings that affect ongoing maintenance planning.

Large-Diameter Mainlines Process Drain Clearing Production Schedule Priority

Food Processing & Distribution

Food processing facilities carry exceptionally high organic load in drain systems — animal fat, plant oils, starch, and cleaning chemical residue that forms dense scale over time. Hydro-jetting at appropriate intervals keeps lines compliant with facility sanitation standards and prevents the kind of drain failure that triggers regulatory scrutiny.

High Organic Load Lines Sanitation Compliance Documented Programs

Healthcare & Medical Facilities

Hospital kitchens, cafeteria operations, and medical campus sanitary systems require non-invasive drain clearing that doesn't risk pipe damage or create secondary contamination risks. We perform camera assessment before hydro-jetting in healthcare environments and provide the service documentation these facilities require for compliance files.

Retail Centers & Mixed-Use

Large-format retail and mixed-use developments with food court tenants share mainline sewer infrastructure across multiple restaurant operators. Mainline hydro-jetting programs keep shared infrastructure clear of accumulation from high-volume food service tenants — and reduce the emergency call volume that landlords absorb when the shared line backs up.

Four Steps from Scheduling to a Clean Line — With Documentation Throughout.

Our commercial hydro-jetting process is the same on every call — whether it's a scheduled grease program or an emergency response to an active backup. Assess first. Jet second. Confirm third. Document always.

  1. Assessment and access setup. We locate the appropriate access point — cleanout, roof stack, or upstream access — and assess the line with a camera when the situation warrants it. We document what we find before the jetting starts: blockage type, estimated location, and pipe condition.
  2. High-pressure jetting. Our commercial jetting equipment delivers high-pressure water at the pressure and volume required for the line size and blockage type — 3,000–4,000+ PSI for grease and scale, adjusted for older or smaller-diameter lines where pipe condition requires it. The jet head scours the pipe walls and flushes the debris downstream to the point of discharge.
  3. Post-jetting camera confirmation. On scheduled programs and significant emergency jobs, we run the camera after jetting to confirm the line is fully clear and document restored pipe capacity. If we find a condition that jetting didn't resolve — a collapsed section, root intrusion requiring mechanical work, or a pipe requiring repair — we flag it in the report before we leave.
  4. Service documentation. Every job closes with a written service report: access point used, pressure applied, line size, blockage type, outcome, and any recommended follow-up. For recurring programs, the report goes into your property's service file for your records and ours.

What High-Pressure Clearing Addresses That Snaking Doesn't.

Mechanical snaking is faster and less expensive for simple blockages — and we use it when it's the right tool. Hydro-jetting is the appropriate method when the goal is more than getting the drain flowing:

  • Grease accumulation built up on pipe walls — snaking punches through it, jetting removes it
  • Scale and mineral deposit buildup from hard water — common in Southern California's water districts
  • Heavy sediment and debris in industrial floor drains and process lines
  • Mainlines serving multiple restaurant or food service tenants with shared grease load
  • Preventive programs where the goal is maximizing time between emergencies, not just clearing the current one
  • Pre-lining preparation when a pipe is scheduled for epoxy lining or structural repair

If we scope a job and determine snaking is the more effective and cost-appropriate method, we'll tell you. The goal is the right outcome — not maximizing the invoice.

A Grease Line Backup During Service Hours Won't Wait. Neither Do We.

When a kitchen or commercial drain backs up during operating hours, every hour of downtime is revenue lost and operational exposure. We respond to active commercial backups same day — camera assessment, high-pressure jetting, and a service report so you can reopen and document the response. After-hours dispatch available for P1 emergencies.

The Contractor Commercial Operators Keep on Program.

"We manage a restaurant group across six locations in Orange County. Grease line backups used to be a recurring emergency — expensive, unpredictable, and always at the worst time. California Coast Plumbers put us on a quarterly hydro-jetting program across all locations. We haven't had an unplanned backup in two years."

Marcus D.

Operations Director — Restaurant Group, Orange County

"Our facility has large-format floor drains that accumulate sediment from the production process. Previous contractors used mechanical equipment and couldn't fully clear the lines — we'd have slow drains again within weeks. California Coast Plumbers brought the right equipment, cleared everything properly, and the lines have held for eight months on the same program."

Dan H.

Facilities Manager — Manufacturing Facility, Riverside County

"A grease backup hit our banquet kitchen on a Saturday before a 300-person event. Called California Coast Plumbers and they were on-site within two hours. Jetted the line, ran a camera to confirm it was clear, and had us operational before the event started. They documented the whole thing, which we needed for the property manager's records."
