Vendor Approval & COI Documentation
Everything your vendor approval manager needs to add California Coast Plumbers to your approved contractor list — coverage limits, license verification, W-9, and COI delivery. One request, same-day turnaround.
WHAT WE CARRY
California Coast Plumbers’ Insurance & Bonding Coverage
These are our actual coverage lines — not generic industry minimums. Request a current Certificate of Insurance for policy numbers and exact effective dates.
PRIMARY COVERAGE
$1M / $2M
General Liability
$1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate. Covers bodily injury and property damage on your premises. Meets or exceeds the requirements of major property management firms, REITs, and commercial landlords.
STATUTORY COVERAGE
Full
Workers’ Compensation
Full statutory workers' compensation coverage for every employee on every job site. Eliminates property owner liability for on-site injuries. Certificate available on request.
VEHICLE COVERAGE
$1M
Commercial Auto
$1,000,000 commercial auto liability covering all company vehicles. Our fleet operates on your property — this coverage protects you from vehicle-related incidents in your parking structure, loading dock, or campus.
EXCESS COVERAGE
$2M
Umbrella / Excess
$2,000,000 umbrella policy providing additional coverage above all primary policies. Required by most Class-A property management firms and institutional landlords.
In addition, CCP maintains a $15,000 contractor’s bond on file with the CSLB, as required for all California C-36 licensed contractors. Bond details are publicly verifiable at cslb.ca.gov.
YOUR VENDOR PACKAGE
What’s Included When You Request Our Vendor Qualification Package
One request. We compile and deliver everything your procurement team needs to complete vendor onboarding. No chasing documents across multiple contacts.

- W-9 (Taxpayer Identification) — Current signed W-9 on file. Provided immediately on request.
- CSLB License Verification — C-36 License #736992. Active status confirmation with CSLB lookup link. License classification, bond status, and workers' compensation confirmation.
- Rate Sheet / Pricing Schedule — Standard labor rates, after-hours rates, emergency dispatch rates, and common materials markup. Aligned with your purchase order and not-to-exceed processes.
- Emergency Contact Card — Dispatch phone number, after-hours escalation path, account manager contact, and P1/P2/P3/P4 response tier definitions.
- References — Client references from property management firms managing similar property types and portfolio sizes. Available on request.
ADDITIONAL INSURED CAPABILITY
We Can Add Your Entity as Additional Insured
What It Is
An additional insured endorsement adds your company, property ownership entity, or management firm to our general liability policy. It provides your entity with direct coverage rights under our GL policy for claims arising from our work at your property.
Why It Matters
A Certificate of Insurance alone does not give you coverage rights. A COI is a snapshot of our insurance status — it confirms that coverage exists. Only an endorsement, issued by our carrier and attached to our policy, creates a contractual coverage extension to your entity. Most institutional property management firms and commercial landlords require this as a condition of vendor approval.
How We Handle It
When you request additional insured, we submit the endorsement to our carrier with your entity’s legal name and the property address(es) where coverage applies. The endorsement is issued as a policy amendment and sent directly to you. Typical turnaround: 1–2 business days.
What We Need From You
- The legal name of the entity to be listed as additional insured
- The property address(es) where coverage applies
- Any specific endorsement form requirements (e.g., CG 20 10, CG 20 37) if your risk management team requires a particular ISO form
If you’re not sure which form your organization requires, we’ll work with your team to determine the correct endorsement.
